Hello,
Correction on my time spent in 4 Fld. I was there from 1965 till 1971.
Ron Taylor
Great to see a site for the old 4 Fld. I was there from 1965 till 1966. Should have joined the navy as I might have gotten out a bit more. I often wonder where all the old lads got to. Still, I had a great time, well most of the time anyway.
Keep up the good work

Served with the Sqn in Nienburgh from 1962 to 1966. Great to see a Sqn web site. The Sqn is now in Ripon and how weird I live about 5 miles from Claro Barracks where they are based. I guess there may be a lot of old pals who will now attending Ripon weekend. Lots of ex sappers live in the area and the weekend is usually very well attended. Ripon REA are the organisers.
